President Bola Tinubu, yesterday, admitted that “Nigeria is passing through a test,” but vowed that his administration would do everything possible to build a nation that works for Nigerians.
In a statement to mark his third year anniversary in office, the President said that “we have not solved every problem and we are not yet where we want to be, but the foundation for recovery has been laid. The task before us now is clear: we must ensure that the benefits of reform are felt more directly in the daily lives of ordinary Nigerians.”
Tinubu noted that when his administration assumed office, the nation was faced with profound economic and structural difficulties.
He said while he understands the sacrifices many families have made in recent years, he also shares the people’s hopes for a better Nigeria.
