The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed former Super Eagles head coach Augustine Eguavoen as interim coach of the Super Falcons ahead of their 2028 Olympic Games qualifying campaign.
The NFF on Tuesday,said that Eguavoen will lead the senior women’s national team in their second-round Olympic qualifiers against Comoros in October, while the search for a substantive head coach continues.
NFFalso said that Eguavoen, brings extensive experience to the role, having managed at the highest level of international football.
It will be recalled that eguavoen led the Super Eagles to a bronze medal finish at the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
