2027: If ADC Can’t Perform, Don’t Vote For Us, Amaechi Tells Nigerians

The vice-presidential candidate of the African Democratic Party (ADP), Rotimi Amaechi, has asked Nigerians to choose capacity when making their choice in the 2027 general election, saying they should not vote for the party if it cannot perform.

Amaechi said this during a panel session at the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) 2026 Annual General Conference taking place in Port Harcourt.

His comment came months before the 2027 general elections, with calls for the opposition to present a united front to unseat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Amaechi, who represented the ADC presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, also asked Nigerians to shun ethnicity and assess candidates based on their track record.
