Amidst the ongoing speculations about the possibility that the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso, will step down ahead of the next elections, he has now come out to debunk the speculations.

The spokesperson of the Rabiu Kwankwaso Presidential Campaign organisation, Ladipo Johnson, has dispelled speculations that the candidate is considering backing other candidates.

Johnson is reacting to speculations on social media that the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Rabiu Kwankwaso, is considering stepping down for either the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar or the APC candidate, Bola Tinubu

Johnson stated this in Lagos on Sunday clarifying that Kwankwaso is still in the race to win and will contest the 2023 presidential election to the end as he joined the race because of his convictions that he can make the desired change in Nigeria.
