Former Secretary to Ebonyi State Government and Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in the forthcoming general election, Bernard Odo, has said that if elected as Governor of the state, he will initiate unique sporting events that will generate Foreign Direct Investment and stimulate local economies of Ebonyi State.

Odo made this known in a statement he made available to Blaze Fm Correspondent in Ebonyi State, Emmanuel Nnaji.

He also said the State government under his administration will annually support gifted athletes and footballers to go on Europe trials for opportunities. Saying he will tailor policies to harness benefits from sports to Ebonyi youths including diaspora remittance.
