Former Vice President and 2023 Presidential Candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has dismissed speculations surrounding his secondary school certificate.

The speculation follows allegations of forgery against Atiku by members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who questioned the name “Sadiq Abubakar” in Atiku’s WAEC certificate as against his other credentials.

However, one of Atiku’s media aides, Dele Momodu, gave the clarification in a post on his X account, on Tuesday, explaining that Atiku said he used the name ‘Sadiq Abubakar’ to sit for his WAEC and after passing his exams he  went to swear an affidavit to say he is the same person as Atiku Abubakar.
