A frontline governorship aspirant under the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), in Ebonyi State, Bernard Odo has said that the invention of the Biometric Data Capturing machine and the introduction of the new electoral law have brought to an end the era of ballot box snatching in Nigeria

Odo stated this to journalists at the party secretariat in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state capital.

Odo, who is a former Secretary to Ebonyi State Government, said following the introduction of the Permanent Voter Card and the new electoral law, the citizenry now has the power to choose who rules them in the country in the forthcoming general election.

Our Correspondent in Ebonyi State, Emmanuel Nnaji, reports that Odo also lamented the increase in poverty and fall of educational standards in the state and called on the people to support his candidature to return the state to its lost glory.
