The Governor Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has asserted that the perceived poor performance of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) does not mean the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will simply cruise to victory.

He made this assertion while speaking at the inauguration of Emohua Campus of Rivers State University, and the flag-off of staff quarters, which was carried out by Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, on Wednesday, Wike declared that some governors were marketing the opposition party.

Wike boased that nobody can cage him from speaking truth to power for the overall betterment of the Nigerians.

The governor pointed out that the time of reckoning for those who continue to insist that they can take everything to themselves in the PDP is coming.
