Two persons have died in a multiple crash that occurred around the Alaka area of Eko Bridge in Lagos

Reports also say five other persons who sustained varying degrees of injuries in the crash have been hospitalized. 

The Lagos Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Babatunde Farinloye, confirmed this on Wednesday saying the crash involved a loaded MAC truck that collided with five cars and a bus. 

Farinloye said the accident would have been avoided if the vehicle was checked to be in good condition before it was put on the road.
