The Imo Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has decorated its 150 newly promoted officers.
The decoration was performed on Friday at the command’s headquarters in Owerri by the command’s commandant, Mr. Matthew Ovye.
Two officers were promoted from the rank of Assistant Commandant (AC) to the rank of Deputy Commandant (DC); 21 officers from Chief Superintendent of Corps (CSC) to AC and 15 officers from Superintendent of Corps (SC) to CSC, among others.
While lauding the corps, Ovye cautioned them to step up their efforts to combat crime for more effective service delivery to make Imo happier and safer for legitimate companies.
