Authorities in Mexico say at least 14 people have died and 31 others have been injured in a road accident that happened in that country on Sunday.

The local safety secretariat in Mexico says the accident took place on the outskirts of the capital, when a bus overturned on the roadway.

The secretariat also says the death toll is only a preliminary figure as more casualties might emerge.
